At Junoon, we believe that young people must regularly have access to artists and their arts practices, to seep in the spirit of the arts. Such exposure can be transformative and life-changing.
We have curated a week-long, immersive experience, the Arts at Play Week that combines exposure, learning and practice to open out the horizons of the mind for young people, while simultaneously building value for rigour, reflection, effort and determination. The students experience the power of teamwork and collaboration, and the joys of free creative expression. They learn how to transform working with what you have into magic and delight and that it is in their power to create an interesting life for themselves.
It is to this end that we are delighted to offer this magical experience to the primary and middle school students of Centre Point School, Nagpur.

Timira Gupta is a trained Arts-Based Therapy practitioner working in two special schools and a residential centre for children-at-risk in Mumbai. She also works as a drama teacher and resource person in two mainstream schools and conducts teacher-training workshops across the city. While her passion lies in education, her secret dream is to be a circus artist. She loves juggling, walking on stilts and to do anything that results in broken bones!
Rangshila Theatre Group
Back in 2008, a group of young enthusiastic theatre lovers got together in Mumbai to form the Rangshila Theatre Group. Led by Avneesh Mishra, they have many productions to their name now. These include their plays Refund, Teesveen Shatabdi, The Great Raja Master Drama Company, Unhen Kuch Kehna Hai, Bahut Bada Sawaal, Blueticks and Sur v/s Asur.
Gillo Theatre Repertory
A group specialising in theatre for young audiences, they have created 12 plays in the past 6 years. Gillo also conducts workshops and engagements that make theatre and the allied arts an integral part of children's lives. Their work includes content development, performance and training. Primarily based in Mumbai, they tour across India with performances, workshops and theatre based engagements. Creative workshops for children, teachers and parents are an important part of their effort to engage children and their community with the theatre arts. Gillo is a member of ASSITEJ India (International Association of Theatre for Children and Young People) and a partner with Junoon.
